Project Challenge:
The challenge was to animate a lifestyle brand that balances fun with finesse. The animation needed to capture a sense of flow and celebration without becoming overly flashy, ensuring the brand retained its upscale and polished identity.
Design Process & Approach:
1. Concept & Direction:
Inspired by the natural motion of pouring a cocktail, the concept embraced curves, fluidity, and motion reminiscent of liquid in motion. The animation direction focused on a refined yet lively tone, reflecting the curated experience that Velour Pour offers.
2. Logo Animation Design:
The animation introduces the logo with swirling, elegant movements that resemble a smooth pour into a glass. Particles or shimmer effects can symbolize sparkle and celebration, while soft ease-in and out transitions keep the motion sophisticated.
3. Typography Treatment:
The logotype animates with a gentle slide or fade, complementing the visual rhythm. The font’s refined strokes are brought in gracefully to maintain a balance of elegance and clarity.
4. Color & Motion Dynamics:
A rich palette of golds, deep burgundy, and dark charcoal tones are enhanced with glowing accents to suggest a warm, luxurious ambiance. The motion uses fluid morphing and scaling to mimic the mixologist’s artistry.
